Jumperoo...

Yet another wonderful toy! I found a jumperoo on craigs list and zoey is in love...

I have never seen her soooo excited about one toy.....


Needless to say this is the best fifty bucks!

1/3 of a year!

Our sweet little baby girl is 4 months old! I can't believe how fast time has gone by.. and everyone says it will fly by.. and i think its even faster than i knew it would be... she is an amazing girl who makes us laugh each and every single moment.. she is literally one of the funniest people ever! Zoey is the happiest baby in the world always smiling and grinning from ear to ear!

Zoey can...
* roll over (once)
* hold her head up
* keep her head up during tummy time
* Laugh and giggle
* reach out and play with her toys
* play in an excersaucer
* win over anyone with one smile
* stay on her tummy for more than 20 minutes! (with a dvd playing in front of her.. 10 without it)

Zoey likes...
* to laugh
* to smile
* to babble
* to scream with excitement
* to be sung to
* to be held
* to eat (rice and formula)
* to suck her thumb
* to have a bath
* to be with mom, dad, and pop-pop and grandma

She is the love of our lives.. and we can't wait to see what next month will bring!

one of my favorite things...

Pensacola is truly HOME.... a Publix has opened with in 15 minutes of my house!!! For those of you who have never had the experience.. Publix is the GREATEST supermarket EVER! i know it sounds sad that a person could be so excited about a supermarket... but i am! I love this store! it has the best pre-made food, subs, cake, sushi... and is well priced! When we moved to pensacola that was one of the things that i was truly upset about... no publix in pensacola.. but now there is one close enough to actually use.. and to put a cherry on top.. in a couple of months there will be one with in 2 miles of my house! i'm soo excited!.. If you are ever in the southeast i highly suggest them... Thank you publix.. shopping truly is a pleasure!

Soo bad...

It's official... she's addicted. Even when we turn her away from the tv, she becomes an owl and turns her neck so that she can watch!


Zoey has been enjoying the past two weeks at grandma's house while we are at work..so she has been sufficiently spoiled by grandma. daycare starts next week and neither gary or I are looking forward to it.. but we have to work and despite the fact that we could probably leave her in her bumbo seat all day and not notice we are gone.. i think chlid and family services might have a problem... she is getting sooo big!!! we did a rough weigh-in and she is 16 pounds!! She is becoming more and more vocal, babbling up a storm any chance she gets. She can roll over however most of the time prefers to sit up in her bumbo chair... She is getting cuter and cuter everyday and we are more and more in love with her...

one down and too many to go... we finished our first week of school and both of us are ready for summer.. once we get back into the swing of things it should get better... hopefully.. 35 more Fridays!

Look what I can do...

When I went to check on Zoey from her nap... she showed me her new trick! Zoey learned to roll over!


Poor little thing was sooo tired yesterday.. she literally fell asleep on the couch..

Feels like forever...

It feels like its been forever since i have updated this.. and since my dad called last night and asked for more pictures of Zoey i knew that it really had been too long.. so here are some pictures to update on our last week of freedom (school has started for us this week and the kids start next week.. needless to say i am already counting down... May 29, 2009)

Tummy time was starting to become a pretty horrible experience around here.. and then it hit me this week... Zoey loves to watch tv(any tv.. its really kid of bad to have a 3 month old addicted to tv) but hates tummy time.. so i added them together and it worked! She watched all of her baby einstein dvd on my laptop while on her tummy.. and did not complain once!


Zoey is definitely our child...when we went to albertson's for their closeout sale(hooray for the new publix!)crab legs were on sale.. and since that is one of our favorites we bought a ton to eat... apparently zoey likes crab legs as well...

Apparently we are not feeding Zoey enough... since last night she tried to eat the tray on her bumbo seat...

Patty Cake...

So this morning, as I was playing 'patty cake' with Zoey I got excited that as soon as I put my hands together to clap so did Zoey.. and then i noticed something else Zoey has learned to do....

I swear we didn't teach her this... she has been doing this since she was born...
