Quick story...
On the way to my mom's house today, we passed a few pastures one with cows. Gary pointed out the cows to her and Zoey immediately starting 'mooing' at the cows.
When we passed the field, she said "more, more, more"
I told her she needed to look for more cows.
Zoey responded by saying "Cow, are you? Cow, are you?"
We about died laughing.... this girl is getting funnier and funnier by the day..
let's be honest its all about them... which is just the way we like it...

Before I forget...
2 quick things...
1. Zoey has become obsessively attached to a hot pink dog affectionately named 'puppy', that Ms. Claus gave her to try and calm her down... you can see it in the screaming Santa pictures below. Now everynight before she goes to sleep she asks for 'puupppy' in the most pathetic voice she can muster up. Then when you give it to her in her bed, she hugs it and then lays her head on puppy. ADORABLE! This morning she woke up at 5:45 screaming.. and after 30 minutes of screaming and going back to sleep, I went to go get her and her last word was 'puppy.' She woke up because she couldnt reach her puppy who was across the crib. CUTE.. even if I woke up at 5:45!
2. Zoey has said a couple unsolicited "thank you's" or at Zoey says it 'tantu' in the past week or so! Woohoo! ADORABLE!

I got what I wanted....
Last year's pictures with Santa were good, and Zoey sat nice, and was in aww of Santa, cute pictures, but not what I was hoping for.. every kid needs the screaming Santa picture.. and this year Zoey did not disappoint...
Happy kid waiting in line for Santa...
She was ok, until I put her on his lap!
So mad! (I love it!).. Yes, I was tempted to use this as our Christmas card!
A little better with mom!
Much better outside, She liked the idea of the bounce house, but not in practice..

Giving Thanks!
This Thanksgiving with so much to be thankful for, we were most thankful for FAMILY! Kim, Tj, Alex, and Sam came up for the week to visit, and we had a BLAST! spending most days at the park, and topping it off with an amazing family Thanksgiving!
Fun at the park!
The Mattes Family, our last Thanksgiving as Three!
Aww.. Cousins don't shake hands, cousins gotta hug!
Love from Sam, very special!
Handsome Alex!
What completes a holiday better than a family sing along! hilarious! They are going to hate this when they older!

The Blues...
I love the Blue Angels! I am so proud that they are from Pensacola! If you ever get the chance to see them TAKE IT! They are amazing!
The Blues had there Welcome Home show this weekend, so Kathy, Judy, Geri, and I went out to see the show Friday since it was the last time Fat Albert was flying...
Love the precision even before they get in the plane!
Amazing as always!

Preschool Peer Pressure....
Anyone that knows our Zoey, or has seen her for more than 30 seconds, knows that she is a thumb sucker, has been since utero! And it was always the left thumb.. for whatever reason. She even has a rash on her left thumb because it is so frequently in her mouth. I feared a thumb sucker before having a kid, mostly do to the horror stories of kid's teeth after they sucked their thumbs for so long. But what is a mom to do... I can't take away her thumb.. and besides it a pretty cute thing to see a little girl sucking her thumb...
But like it or not Zoey is a thumb sucker...
Enter Preschool..
Zoey has been in preschool for almost two months. She loves school and often doesn't want to leave when we pick her up! When Zoey does get home from school she plays, she snacks, and then bedtime.. a typical day. Then last week she starts wanting a pacifier. She has done this before, but always plays with it and then puts it down ultimately preferring her thumb to the 'paci'.
Not last week.
Zoey wanted her 'paci' and wouldn't back down until she had a 'paci' in hand and mouth. So when it came to bedtime, she didn't have one, until she saw it on the dresser. I handed it to her, and figured it would go to the 'paci' dumping ground like all other paci's to date(behind her crib, after she had played with them enough to satisfy her interest).
Not this night.
About ten minutes after putting her down she screamed! I went in to check on her and low and behold the now beloved 'paci' had fallen to the floor. I handed it back and she went straight to sleep...
The next day I brought one to preschool, fearing that the same thing would happen at nap time and Zoey wouldn't sleep and wake up the other kids. When I spoke to the teacher, she said, "All the other kids have one at nap time."
PEER PRESSURE! Zoey has succumb to the peer pressure of preschool of a pacifier! Now I have to remember to find all the pacifiers in the house, and take them with us wherever we go! Nothing is worse than a 18 month breakdown in the middle of Target! I know I have seen them happen.
So now we are a pacifier family.... What's next jumping off the playground equipment, cause all the cool kids are doing it??
