Happy Birthday Zoey!

Zoey, today you are four! How can that be when you were just my baby girl? You have gotten to big to quick, and despite our demands you are continuing to grow! Mommy and Daddy love you sooo much! Daxton loves you so much, which is part of the reason he bugs you so much... he just wants to be like his big sister!  You are the smartest, prettiest, sassiest four-year old. You challenge us, drive us crazy, and make our hearts melt.

A much needed family beach day...

This week has been crazy to say the least... so we decided we needed a family beach day! The kids went to school and then after school we  headed out to the beach!!! 

 The kids were in HEAVEN.. because DADDY got to come... 

Zoey asked to be buried... so we obliged her request... if only she would stay there...

 I would say it was the best thing to remedy a crazy week.... Dax agrees...

Zoey went to a birthday party with Pony Rides... and she LOVED IT! She is hooked... I think she rode like 5-6 times. Let's put it this way.. she didn't stop to have cake.. she would rather ride the horse!

Don't tell Gary... he might try to buy this girl a pony!

One of the AMAZING parents at the kids' school is a professional photographer... so for Easter she came to the school and took picture of the kids!

Cousins!

To say that Zoey loves her cousins would be a HUGE understatement... She is obsessed with them. In the weeks leading up to them coming in town, she talked about it CONSTANTLY! So we were so happy when they finally got here! 

Of course we spent the entire time at Grandma and Pop's absorbing every moment of Sam and Alex!

 Of course it would not be a trip without swimming.. the water was FREEZING.. but they didn't mind a bit. Thankfully Kimber went in to supervise!

Easter!

Since Sam and Alex were in town... Easter was at Grandma and Pop's (Zoey lived there for the entire weekend anyway.).

First things first.. we had to find the Easter baskets... so off they went to hunt...

After picture it was time for the Easter Egg hunt! Each kid had their own color egg to find... but it got a little confusing...

- Dax has eaten crayons...
- dog has thrown up....

Easter Egg Hunt at School

Zoey and Dax's school had an Easter egg hunt, thankfully even though they were in different rooms at the same time, I was able to see both of them "hunt" for eggs

Dax was a bit hesitant ... but then got the idea... especially with his partner in crime Noah. These two are two days apart.. and definitely reek havoc on the barnyard room!

Pool etiquette

Dax needs some lessons on proper pool etiquette... or we have been living in the south for far too long!
