Potato Sack Dominance!

We went over to Mrs. Sarah's house... it was a great time! and we loved seeing our friends from St. Luke's...

Overall it was fun... food, pumpkin carving, and visiting with friends...

Then it was time for the Potato Sack Race... and Zoey DOMINATED against two 5-year olds!

Fun at the Fair!

Last Wednesday, Gary called home while on his way .. and asked if we wanted to go to the fair... I was a bit skeptical, especially with the kids.... But we had free admission and parking.. so why not?

I am soooooooooooooooo glad we went... it was a blast! The kids were GREAT! and had sooo much fun!
Zoey and Dax wanted to ride EVERY ride...

This was the car racing ride... and Dax got to go with Gary...

Zoey got to ride this ride all by herself... she felt like such a big girl!

I have changed my views on the fair... and will return next year!

Painting pumpkins...

We opted to paint our family pumpkin this year in stead of carving...

Let's just say.... you can tell which side Zoey painted and which side Dax painted...

Baby Taylor

Baby Taylor was born last week.. so we watched Haley..... My kids were ECSTATIC!

It was a fun week of sleepovers... but man I am glad I don't have three kids...

Dax keeps telling everyone that he is going to be a dinosaur for Halloween... so tonight I let him try on his costume... and he LOVED it.. and kept it on for at least an hour... and then would walk around roaring at everyone...

Pumpkin Patch!

The kids were very excited to go back to their "old school" for the Pumpkin Patch!

a bit of a get away....

With as crazy as life has been these past few months... it was time for break... 

so we packed up on a Friday.. and went to the beach! 

Thankfully one of our friends has a condo that we rented... and it was HEAVEN!

What more could I ask for?

We woke up the next morning and went right back! 

A few sand castles had to be built.... 

 

Though I am sure we could have spent longer... it was nice to just get away.. but not be so far away.. 

all in all.... perfection!

Tour de Lost Creek

As soon as Zoey saw Haley riding her bike around the neighborhood..... I knew this would not be far behind... She did great... I only had to push her to start a few times...

 I don't know what happened to the past 4 1/2 years... this picture just makes me realize it a bit more..

Gymnastics

Zoey started gymnastics classes on Thursdays... 

Off she goes!

Waiting and waiting for class to start... she could barely stand it...

 We found out one of our friend's little girls was in the class as well, which is great! 

Until Dax realized he couldn't go in....

Thankfully popcorn and a slurpee seem to lessen the blow...

2 things I love...

Dax was sitting on the potty.... (a rare event) and said, "the poop popped out of my butt-butt!" HILARIOUS!

Zoey, after dinner, went in her room and sat "reading" books for at least twenty minutes...





ps - Zoey started gymnastics today! She LOVED it! especially the trampoline.... :)
