Zoey's Candy Land 4th Birthday Party!

This year Zoey decided to have a "Candy Land" Birthday party, which is completely appropriate since she has been obsessed with the game since she got it for Christmas. I think I went a little overboard in the whole decor, but it was sooo much fun! (and had a little help from Holly)

As you entered... the two short signs say "welcome to Zoey's 4th birthday"

A GIANT Gingerbread GIRL.. it was very important to be a girl... 

Square tiles on the floor just like the game board

Then on the counter there was the "Candy Castle"... Which had probably far too much candy... 

Just like every year, I surround the house with pictures of Zoey... definitely one of my favorite things...

Then I took the areas in Candy Land and named portions of the "Candy Castle"

Zoey's grandma made Chocolate lollipops and cookies for the kids to decorate... so cute! 

Before everyone came Zoey got her "big" present.. so Daddy blind folded her... 

I think she liked it!

I think Zoey asked about ten times to open her presents as soon as people got there.. she was oh so spoiled by everyone! of course!

Then it was on to cookie decorating!

Mostly the party was people just hanging out.. which is my kind of party! Zoey was sooo happy that so many people came to her party... 

Zoey's cake.. was a special creation this year... She had requested to have a rainbow cake... so thanks to Pinterest I was able to discover this... its quite easy and looks super impressive and lets be honest.. coming from me.. this is SUPER impressive and tasted great!

and Zoey loved it.. which is all that matters...
